So, hands up those of you who run your own business?
So, hands up those of you who run your own business? I know, I know, you are too busy to raise your hand, I'm hearing you! First of all, let me just say that I am extremely grateful that I have the opportunity to work for myself, as well as raise two awesome tiny humans at the same time. I am grateful that I have a great husband, who provides for us so I can do this. Secondly, let me stress that I am not having a whinge about anything to do with running my own business, I just know how busy life gets and how it becomes really challenging fitting everything in. I am constantly reminding myself of the word 'balance'. This can be really hard to keep in the front of my mind, especially with so much going on.
Being a creative person, I would love to just make things 24/7. Unfortunately, this cannot be the case! I find myself doing so much admin work at the moment, that the creative stuff takes a back seat. I think it's important to get that balance though, making time to do something that you love can really invigorate the mind and soul. Don't get me wrong, the admin stuff is important, I am constantly working out ways of balancing the organising side of the business with the creative side. If anyone has any clues on how to achieve this, I am all ears!
As you can see, the website is now live! Hooray! All of the organising and admin stuff has been worth it! Have a look around and let me know what you think of it. Maybe you might like to buy something - that will force me to get my creativity going again!
